Club rego?

Hi Ben, we have looked at this and because we are not an incorporated Club or association and do not meet any of the governance requirements and are not intending to become an incorporated Club or association this won't get off the ground. We just want to keep it as an informal forum without committees, voted Office Bearers, fees, accounts, compulsory members meetings, liability and compliance issues so the answer to your question is no we aren't a "Club" for the purpose of "Club Rego" and there is no intention to become one. If you would like to pursue Club Rego for your Kat there are a few Clubs that would fit the bill. Club Rego and the restrictions on bike use can take out the fun and spur of the moment things like: "I want to go for a blat today" so just something to consider.

Here are a some Q and A from the QLD Transport site regarding Special Interest Rego.

Yes I am impressed.
I wanted my cake and eat it too.
I'm not interested in joining a "proper" club as they seem to accumulate a higher (per capita) average of wakers so I'll never mention it again. I like the laid back version you guys have built.
Thanks Glen.

:eek:ANY MORE laid back, we'd need forward controls....THEN we would have to further modify our bikes into ....'NARLEY KATANASONS'.....shit more 'METRIC CRUISERS'.....bugger it I'm buying an 'INDIAN CHIEF'':cool:
PS When I'm too old to ride the dinosaur...I'm going to seriously consider it!:?

Nar, that grinding is the dry wheel bearings you haven't replaced for 10 years and painkillers can sort out the O.A. so it's all good.
