Club Day verses Ride Day

Hi Everyone, By now most of you would know i am an avid fan of motorcycle ride days and try to do around 12 a year at the creek and next year we have 13 riders that will be at Phillip Island for two ride days. Anyhow last week spoke to this guy who has been giving me a rough time of going all out and do a state club race meeting as ride day people are "bloody nuts" as he says. WELL the last St George club meet at Eastern creek was a day of carnage:- 27 bikes crashed and SIX medical helicopters were required at the track for badly injured riders. The dollar value to written off and badly damaged race bikes was huge. So after i pointed this out to him his attitude changed and he understands that even on ride days we get people falling off and some do get hurt so i will stay with my ride days.

I hear you Murf as my two favorite corners are Turn one and Turn eight,"Corporate Hill" on the old Gp Circuit and for the new 800 meter extension lets just say it is interesting.
