thanks Pete for the web site http://jbmindustries.com/ most valuable,great information on site ,learnt alot . with these guys you have to email them , 1# country i.e Australia 2#the parts ie Mikini BS34 CV 73 mm Diaphrams & 3# like how many , 4 off. then they email a invoice and you pay with card or paypal .with this site it shows you how and where to measure where the diaphram sits in the groove and there's a graph that shows the difference between the BS 34 SS with a O.D 70 MM and the BS 34 CV 73 MM DIAPHRAM.cheers and good looking.:ugeek: send all emails in Australian to jbmindustries@att.net

No worries Patrick, they should be good for those carbs. If I had real BS34SS on the wee beastie instead of those red headed step child things I reckon they would've solved my issues no sweat.
Just remember the top lip needs to be rolled over when installing. Pretty sure he has a link to a video on there somewhere which helps no end in understanding that bit.

replaced the diaphragms last week ,after rebuilding the top end again this year,the bike started up on the second kick and ticks over very nicely thank you,I found that the side cutters worked best at removing the old plastic retaining disc's off the slides and it was easy to fit the new rubber in the groove of the slide,after a bit of a thrash retention the head and checked the valve clearance,dropped the headers and sump, cleaned the screen and replace oil filter ,oil and headed gaskets,ajusted rear chain ready for work and next weeks run.
