G'day all. Thanks for the welcome message Tomcat.
I have owned an 85 1100 since 1995 but was last registered in 2000. Missus has just got her license and needs a riding buddy so it's time to bring it out on the road again. At this stage it looks like a couple of brake master cylinder kits, battery and a tune up will have me in the wind. General tidy up will be ongoing for some time I imagine but looking toward to it.

G'day and welcome Tim, Hope it's not too long before your bike's rego'd and on the road again, I've just recently got back on board myself,
it's a good feeling to be in the wind again for sure.

Good on you Chief. Not quite at the ride off into the sunset stage of life. People say kids grow up too fast, I'd have to disagree!
Some goodies have turned up from Mick Hone but unfortunately next couple of weekends are busy with other stuff. Funny, the katana has sat in the corner of the shed for 15 years and never bothered with it and last couple of weeks it's all I think about. Won't be long.
 
That's good news Tim. I'm sure it won't be long now, since it was last rego'd in 2000 a set of tyres will be in order too.

Yes it's funny how the years go by, mine sat for 10 + yrs before I decided to get it rego'd and back in the wind again.
Great to hear your missus has got her license too and is also keen to ride, that's cool.

My Ex amongst some of her many weird sayings, once said "It's me or the Bike" what a sad day that turned out to be for her.

Post some pics when you can mate as I'm sure SKA members will be keen to see your KAT and it's progress. Good luck.
