The 8th and final combined SWAP MEET and HUGE Museum clearance sale.....to be held at the museum grounds...Cnr Butlers Rd and Warrego Hwy Haigslea Qld

.combining the Australian Motorcycle museum swap and the Historic Motorcycle Club of Queensland, Haigslea swap (usually held in April). following the closing of the museum in Sept2014. There will be a huge clearance of all the museum spare parts (approx. 3 tons of misc vintage, British, American and Japanese parts) plus posters, books, banners, diecast models, Tshirts, Jackets, badges, hundreds of workshop manuals and books. 40plus motorcycles for sale.

.PS..THEY ARE KEEPING BOTH kATANAS and I'm pretty sure there's no KAT parts.(I wonder why?)

...Since SUNDAY would be THE day, I'd think Saturday would be the go. We could make a start on beer time anytime before that!

Glen that would be good. i was also thinking of a pot of curried little potatoes and a nice little curry. it would obviously depend on what people will/want to eat. Plenty of time yet, but it's good to start planning...especially if it involves two of some my favourite things...illegal,immoral or fattening. PS I'll have to see my doc and get a leave pass to get on it. He said NO alcohol with the pills I'm on. we'll have to see about that.

Friday would certainly be the go, looking forward to catch up, beer and barby already. :)

Mate just pointed out to me that the Toowoomba swap meet is on the same weekend but of the two I know which one I'll be going to. :cool:

..:)ERIC, Please note the amendment...SATURDAY for SUNDAY....There's no reason we couldn't duck out for a look on Saturday as well!..:cool:

No problem Ian, just give me the pills and I'll take them with grog and you'll be fine.
 
Definitely going to the Haigslea show Ian, if theres a chance to have a squizz at T'wooba as well, I'll be in it (insert thumbs up here).....
 
No GS stuff. There'll be GT380, TS100,A100, C92/CA92/C95/CA95 and G7 stuff mainly. And a couple of Ducati 851 Tricolore tanks and a frame for same
