G'day.

Try to make a long story short. My old man had an SF back in the day. Traded it in '92.......fer 18 freakin'hundred dollars.......was mint. He still regrets it. Fast forward 24 years, and I've managed to secure an SE for $600.Low Kilometre item. It's been dropped.....but nothing too bad.

Just spent this morning gathering the missing inner cowl (NOS), oil cooler grill, taillight, inner rear guard NOS choke disc (complete with decal !) and OEM blank key. In the coming weeks/months I hope to secure the missing mirrors.....and maybe an SF instrument cluster (fuel gauge instead of idiot lights ;))

She looks rough on first inspection, but the rust looking stuff is red Dubbo dust......greasy dust.....she's been "stored" covered in WD. Bonus !! I'm looking at it as finding a handful of unobtainium parts (proving easier than I thought), some elbow grease, and consumables/service items.

The rough bits. Bike is still in Dubbo at a mates. Pick up in January. Can't bloody wait !!!! ;) :D

Cheers mate. :-)

Andrew.

:)

Hi Andrew, I have an '84 Pop Up and at the moment and haveing a Racetech complete rear mono shock being built by Racetech in the United States via Shock Treatment here in Wallacia N.S.W. and the front end has been overhauled with the fork tubes re-chromed. 1kg springs and Gold Values installed and this will cost dollars but it had to be done.

This is my Pop up and hope to get her out of the Suspension guys soon.

Geeeeeez Nick....That is bloody nice !!!!!

I'll get around to the suspension eventually. Re-chrome is a given, and I have a complete set of forks, triples and head-stem I have my eye on. Figure I can make one pretty great set out of two, with a few spares.

Damn your bike looks great. A real goal for me to aim at, just how I want this one !

Where did you get the front fairing decals from ? (the story ones, above the engine)

They are all original decals and you may want to try Mick Hone Motorcycles in Melbourne and see if they are still available or there are people that do print them out but i have not needed to do so. Only when i had and '83 Suzuki Katana 750 S2 sprayed in Bright Silver Metallic the repair shop at Hornsby N.S.W. called Collide-a-scope had a printer that could print original decals they have it on there computer down to the decals color.
