.....I wonder if the second G suffix in GS650 G is a reference or tribute to a serious fan of these Katana's - namely Glen?
 
Are you blokes off your medication? Right, thank you to the pretend Katana Fans, where do I start! As some would be aware the Real Katana is designated GSX1100S, "S" = Sport in Suzuki speak of the day. The "S" = Sport was assigned to the 4 valve chain drive Katana.

A GS650 G is without doubt a Suzuki and a very fine model indeed however, a Real Katana it ain't!

Maybe it's time for a splitter group for the G-Bangers?

The unclean Darkside is another issue to be dealt with later. Wouldn't want to derail this wonderful G Banger thread, just want to derail the "G".
