7fiddy Switchblocks 81 model photo wanted

Morning Campers
I was wondering if someone would be able to post a picture of the switchblocks for an 1981 7fiddy. Glen reckons mine are dodgy and wrong so wanted to see what was right.

Thanks in advance

Apologies for the misinterpretation, I thought you said that you hadn't seen those on a Kat before?

Yes, those cast alloy switch blocks on your 7-Fiddy are the only ones I have ever seen on said machine. The other SZ 7-Fiddy Kats I have seen were all wearing the same black plastic switch blocks as the 1100. Mick Hone parts list the 7-Fiddy LH block as 37400-49311 and the 1000/1100 blocks as 37400-49310 so although the numbers are different I am sure the three blocks are the same for the SZ 750/1000/1100 Kat. Yours wouldn't be the first bike to have had the blocks replaced by something else that works and isn't the O.E.M. blocks.

Ill do my best to remember to take a pic tonight. I can agree with Glen here they are definitely black and the same as 1100 (only saying that as ive seen pics of the 1100 ones on here). Mine have faded allot however so the graphics are not readable anymore.

Any idea what these cost from MH? Also my headlight/indicator switch is very loose and feels ready to break free at any moment...Cheers Rusty

I remember buying a set off someone on here when I first got the bike and they were the same as the ones on the bike. He even supplied a couple of sets of stickers for the high beam light switch. Which is why I'm thinking that Glen may dare I say it not be quite correct........Don't really care because they work and are fine just curious.

Ha Ha might never be solved - I can take pics of my units, but How do I know they are the ones that were purchased with the bike - other than the fact they look some 33 yrs old....Also they seem to have the indicators, lights ect printed on - not a sticker? is this norm?

Yeah Rusty, original switch blocks have the text in white print not decals. The decals are an aftermarket jobbie to freshen-up tired blocks.
