2016 laidley swap meet

The Laidley motorcycle only swap meet is on again the last weekend in October (29/30 October 2016)
contact Pete on 0459 211 365
.
.Anyone requiring a bed or a spot to roll out a swag with secure bike parking and off street parking for your car? there's plenty of room and a warm welcome. We are relatively just down the road from Laidley.
.
.PS.If there's enough interest we could make it an unofficial? Christmas party BBQ and beers etc for SKA and motorcycling friends? Swap meet in the morning and BBQ back at the Margaritaville Garage and KAT House. in the afternoon/evening.
.What do you think?.

Had a good couple of hours walking about, bought a couple of small items, home by 8:30am......then had to explain to the wife I didn't do it on purpose

note : rang Shannons at 9am, they couldn't have been more helpful.
By 9:15 the car was booked in to a local garage on Monday morning for assessment and repair, free Taxi to and from, able to pay excess off over next few weeks. :)

Bugger! And good result with Shannons... all rolled in to one...

But what were the small items? Baby Kat?

Haha, no such luck Pete.

Couple of those small drawer cabinets for nuts and bolts, an old pommy m/c book and a metal T120 sign :)

I thought I'd let Eric explain the pain! Apart from the aftermath of our wildlife experience we both had a reasonable day. I spent $21 being a tenner for admission (OUCH)... and a fiver for medium half cooked chips and six bucks for a reasonable egg and bacon roll AND I lucked it in with two eggs on mine!...STRANGELY I thought I was the Kat that ate the canary!...ran into a few old friends and in general had a good time...home then read Saturdays papers watched the city auction group live on the net then off to bed for a nanny nap. What are the rich people doing?....cheers Ian

On Monday I was having a chat with one of the guys at work into bikes. He has a Bandit that he puts buku miles on and a Z1 that he's owned since new and he tells me he went to the swap meet and walked out with the lucky door prize. A350cc Royal Enfield.

Royal Enfield would be a mixed blessing...

Imagine;
I won !
ah its crap,
I won !
wait its broken down again....
