1991 katana 250

Does anyone have any info on this model,where they any good any problems I should look for
I know they are not a big engine but my son loves my katana and has his P license and would love to ride a katana but unsure
As from what I have read they only went for 1 year so parts are hard to get.

I have part and service PDF's if you need. PM your email address and i will send.

Also have some NOS parts; red / grey seats, front guards, side panels, used gauges, NOS tank

Yes I bought them but it wasn’t advertised properly,the silver and black one was sold long ago and he only put that picture to show what one looks like LOL ohh well. Got a very used red and silver needing lots of love and the across and lots of spares.

That would be great if I could get the parts and service manual please.
I have to sort through all the parts so I know what I have and then what I need

just sent the parts manual

The NOS tank, 1 NOS seat and NOS guard have just been sold to a member in Victoria. Still have 1 more seat, guard and gauges.

The lower tank side panels are the same as the 750/1100 Kat with the choke / rear side panels being completely different (part from the choke knob)
 
That should be a fun little rider I'd reckon! The only experience I've had with those little 4 cylinder 250s was a loaner Bandit I had when getting tyres sorted on the wee beastie one day, and I kept stalling it until I figured it needed at least 6K RPM just to get off the line!

Red line on the 250 is 15,500

Oh yes, they like to rev! I must say once I figured that out I did have a little fun keeping that tacho needle right up there :D
 
can anyone shed some light on this exhaust, from what i can research is its a yoshimura duplex header?
these are on the suzuki across i got as spare parts bike
what do the round cans on the header do?
are they worth putting on the baby katana or better leave it with a std exhaust system.
