1986 Rebuild- Gday

Sorry for not knowing the process of interacting on a forum. This is all new to me.
I have had my Katana for 12 years, did a total rebuild and got rear ended.
The bike was written off and Im now starting all over again.

I have tried to source parts with limited success but some are proving difficult hence my interest in this site.
I am aiming to get it finished ASAP.

Any help you guys can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Gidday Ewen, Nice to see your observing the site rules, which really is just about common courtesy :). So welcome, I'm sure that you'll get the advise that you're looking for.

.PS.There is plenty of interest in your model kat.

Welcome Ewen from the Midwest - I dont get angry very often but if someone rear ended my newly resto'd Kat id get pretty pissed.

Good luck with the new rebuild - plenty of info on here mate - plenty of original and modified bikes getting about!!!

You will be sure to hear Mick Hone mentioned regularly - stocks almost all parts for the big Kats (at least those that are still available). 10% discount for Katana Australia member s too (at least I think thats still the case - can anyone confirm this??)

Cheers
Rusty

Hi Ewen. Welcome. The answer to your parts question comes randomly, there is always someone trawling the net for info/parts and they usually post it on this site for our benefit, they are great guys for that.. So jump on board and get to know everyone and enjoy the banter.
