1981-82 GSX1100s Katana Seat Restoration

Hello fellow Katana addicts!
I recently purchased a 1981-82 GSX 1100s which am in the process of doing a complete restoration with the goal of bringing this beautiful machine back to showroom condition.
I’m trying extremely hard to keep this sweet-ride period correct. Wish me luck!
Just wondering if anyone has any contacts with respect to getting the seat restored?
I’m not sure I want to go to those cheap eBay covers…
I’m sure that many of you have been down this road, any feedback or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Bill.
I had a seat restored about 18 months by a guy in Bundaberg. The info was given to me buy some of the members and his work was fantastic.
I had to take things of the boil for a while and tonight is my first night back in the group. I will get back to you with the correct contact details.
Great bunch of guys in the club and a wealth of information here.

Hi Pauly, firstly apologies for my very late reply. I’ve been off the grid for a while...
I manage to secure a new seat from Mick Hone, I but I still want to get the original seat recovered. I will definitely be reaching out to your lead!
